“Eastern” sugar maple for carved top electric guitar. 1-piece top – slab cut. This is THE top wood used in the ’59 Les Paul guitars. All the wood for our carved maple tops we cut from logs we obtain locally in the Allegheny Mountains of West Virginia and Virginia. This top is not joined, however the joint-edge is flat as is one face of each piece. Faces are parallel – like a board. Item: LP10914
