East Indian Rosewood Guitar back with sides Item: GBRW0925

Indian Rosewood (Dalbergia latifolia): also known as East Indian rosewood, is native to southern India. It features heartwood that varies from rose to deep brown, often with darker purple-black lines, and has a moderately coarse, uniform texture with a dull to medium gloss.

Top grade, quartered and book-matched set, that has been dried to an moisture content of 10% or less and is ready for use.  We do recommend that you allow the wood to acclimate to your shop until the moisture content is stable (5 days minimum).

Cut in 2025.

Sized for a full-sized guitar and meets the following minimum dimensions:

Backs: 8.75″ W x 22″ L x .15″ thk

Sides: 5.12″ W x 34″ L x .16″ thk

The sides will be selected to match the back grain and color.
