Pre-Carved F5 Mandolin Back (M1KIT04)

Pre-carved F5 mandolin back only.  Curly (Red) maple back (2 piece).  The outsides of the plates need only final scraping or sanding. Inside is partially carved leaving enough wood for hand graduation/tap tuning. The 2-piece top is hand joined using hot hide glue. We harvest this maple from selected trees locally in West Virginia.
