Red “Adirondack” Spruce Soundboard for Ukulele – 10 Count

Red “Adirondack” Spruce soundboard for ukulele. Minimum width (of the half) is 4.5 inches (115mm), but most are 5 inches of more (127mm<) (Please let us know if you require a specific dimension). We harvest this spruce in our local Allegheny Mountains where it is found at elevations generally at least 4000 feet msl (1200 m.). All of our red spruce we find within about 100 miles of our shop. Red spruce of the quality demanded for string instruments is uncommon, and grading for grain spacing, color etc. is not as stringent as for our European (Carpathian) tops. Generally, the grain will be relatively tight at the joint edge and progressively get wider towards the outer edge.
